Plesk Upgrade! Upgrade will take place on January 2nd 2010 For security and stability reasons, We will be upgrading the "Plesk" software on our web hosting servers. For various technical reasons, and because the Plesk hosting server is a shared server that provides services for many customers with many different domain names, the new version of Plesk software requires that users make a small change to the way they login to check or send e-mail messages. This only applies to customers who host a domain name with iZone Networks and use email clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Windows Mail, or Thunderbird to check an e-mail address that contains that domain name. See below for details... Please make this change immediately! Choose the email client that you use! Eudora Thunderbird Microsoft Outlook Outlook Express Webmail (Horde) Windows Mail Mac Mail Changing Email username in Eudora 1. Open Eudora 2. Click on Tools then Options 3. Click on the Getting Started icon 4. Next click in the field called "Login Name" 5. Edit this line to reflect your full email address Example: Change johndoe to johndoe@abcompany.com 6. Once you made the change, click on OK All Done! Changing Email username in Thunderbird 1. Open Thunderbird 2. Click on Tools then Account Settings 3. Click on the Server Settings icon 4. Next click in the field called "User Name" 5. Edit this line to reflect your full email address Example: Change johndoe to johndoe@abcompany.com 6. Once you made the change, click on OK All Done! Changing Email username in Outlook 1. Open Outlook 2. Click on Tools then Email Accounts 3. Select View or change existing email accounts 4. Click Next 5. Select the account and click Change 6. Next click in the field called "User Name" 7. Edit this line to reflect your full email address Example: Change johndoe to johndoe@abcompany.com 8. Once you made the change, click on Next 9. Click on Finish All Done! Changing Email username in Outlook Express 1. Open Outlook Express 2. Click on Tools then Accounts 3. Click on the Mail Tab 4. Click Properities 5. Click on the Servers Tab 6. Next click in the field called "Account Name" 7. Edit this line to reflect your full email address Example: Change johndoe to johndoe@abcompany.com 8. Once you made the change, click on Apply 9. Click on OK All Done! Changing Email username in Windows Mail (Vista) 1. Open Windows Mail (Vista) 2. Click on Tools then Accounts 3. Click on the Mail Tab 4. Click Properities 5. Click on the Servers Tab 6. Next click in the field called "Account Name" 7. Changing Email username in Mac Mail (OSX) 1. Open Mac Mail 2. Click on Mail then Preferences 3. Click on the Accounts icon 4. Next click in the field called "User Name" 5. Changing Email username in Webmail (Horde) As a webmail user, you do not need to make any changes.
